I just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks. If you remember, I had my second little boy in Aug and was having pain nursing. He just had his 7 month birthday last week and we're still nursing!!! Yay! It turned out my pain was related to thrush and once that was fixed we were good to go!!! Thanks for all of your help, listening, and overall encouragement. You were there when I really needed it and I appreciate it so much! Keep doing what you're doing. It's making a difference!!

I had many difficulties breastfeeding my first child. Now that I'm expecting my second child, I know that I'm going to need a lot more support in order to have a more successful breastfeeding experience. I recently attended a workshop hosted by North Penn Nursing Mothers and I really feel like I've found a wonderful support network. It's so comforting to know that there are a group of women who are willing and able to help you through any curves that might come along. I look forward to drawing on their experiences this time around and also hope I can help support other moms in one way or another.

I attended a Breastfeeding 101 workshop led by some of the counselors from North Penn Nursing Mothers. It was a great overview of what I have to look forward to with breastfeeding. As an expectant mom of twins I had many worries and fears about breastfeeding. The women were more than willing to answer every question I had and also offered many tips about keeping my supply up for twins. I felt like they had a lot of knowledge and if they didn't know an answer to something they had someone to refer me to. They showed lots of pictures which was helpful as well. I would recommend this workshop to any mother who will be breastfeeding.
I look at breastfeeding as a challenge and I know that I will have my ups and downs, but I am glad to have found some great contacts to support me when we begin this journey! I will definitely be attending some of the monthly meetings so that I can continue to get my questions answered and also maybe offer up what is working for us for another mother.

I am expecting my first child and after careful research and consideration have decided that breast feeding is the healthiest course of action for both me and my new baby. Once that decision was made the next questions were: How do I do this? What do I need to know to make this experience meaningful, rewarding, and still reach those goals of optimal health for us both? That's where North Penn Nursing Mothers came in. Through a very informative, relaxed, and inspiring work shop I learned almost all I needed to know to start my breastfeeding journey with my baby. I am so relieved to know that the amazing women at NPNM will be a constant source of knowledge and expertise. Thanks North Penn Nursing Mothers for being there!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for being there for me. My little one is over 9 months old and still nursing strong. It's amazing! I think that I'm still nursing him now partly because of the support you were able to give to me about 3 months ago. It's just been a wonderful experience. :-)
